Wyoming residents in the Black Hills service territory have the freedom to choose their own natural gas supplier. The program, called Choice Gas, opens the Wyoming natural gas marketplace once a year — three weeks each April. If you are currently already a Wyoming Community Gas customer, thank you for continuing to support your community! If not, you can switch your current Wyoming natural gas supplier to Wyoming Community Gas during the open-enrollment period.
If your utility is Black Hills Energy, and you live in the Casper, Gillette, and Torrington divisions, you have the ability to choose Wyoming Community Gas as your natural gas supplier.
The Choice Gas selection period is April 6 through April 26, 2023.
Watch your mail at the end of March for your Choice Gas ballot. Enroll online, or call Wyoming Community Gas toll-free at 877-318-4051 for assistance in making your selection. Our friendly and knowledgeable customer service representatives can help you make the best choice for your situation. Pricing rates may be different for each division due to differences in distribution costs, infrastructure, and other “upstream” costs.
When you choose Wyoming Community Gas as your natural gas supplier, not only will you receive affordable and reliable natural gas for your home or business, you also help support the communities we serve. Wyoming Community Gas reinvests a portion of our revenues into hometowns across our service area.
